Due to the high rate of Applications for a Part-66 Licence received from non-EASA member states we publish a list here, which specifies the conditions for the acceptance of an application for a Part-66 Licence.
At least one of the following criteria must apply:
1. The applicant for a licence has a citizenship from Austria or any other EASA member state.
2. The applicant for a licence resides in Austria.
3. The applicant for a licence has a current employment in an Austro Control approved aircraft maintenance organisation. In this case the applicant has to have a minimum of 6 months of recent relevant experience in that organisation within the last 12 months prior to the application (compare AMC 66.A.30(d)).
4. The applicant is already a holder of an Austro Control GmbH issued Part-66 aircraft maintenance licence.
